Wisconsin Deal: 2.70% On A 28-Month CD
A small bank with a single office just north of Madison has a special 28-month CD that’s worth a mention.
Settlers bank in DeForest is paying 2.70% APY, which is almost three-quarters of a percentage point higher than the best nationally available 24-month CD rates.
But the minimum deposit is a steep $25,000 and these certificates of deposit must be bought in person.
