CD Rates Leaderboard For July 12: A New Bank Ties Lead In 36-Month CDs

For the second time this month, Quaint Oak Bank has cut its rates, this time by enough to fall from the CD Rates Leaderboard.

The small suburban Philadelphia bank cut its return today on 36-month CDs from 2.00% to 1.90% and its 60-month CD rates from 2.75% to 2.65% APY.

Danversbank alone now holds the top nationally available 60-month CD rates at 2.75% APY.

And as for 3-year certificates of deposit, we still have a three-way tie at the top: Danversbank, NOVA Bank and a new bank joining the CD Rates Leaderboard, all offer 2.00% APY with a modest $500 minimum deposit.

Check out new edition MainStreet Bank of Virginia on the Leaderboard right now and then come back later this afternoon.

We’re working on a post about how you can take advantage of MainStreet’s great 36- and 48-month CD rates.
